I'm about to pick up a 97 integra SiR-G

It has silver backed headlights, can i take these apart and paint them black to look like the JDM type R headlights??

Anyone got a how to? Or pics??

Do they come apart easily??

Don't know about painting them yourself...why not sell them and buy the Type R headlights ?

 

could do, but would just save the hassle doing this.

Also, there isn't many places to buy these from in UK.

just buy the ITR lights...u dont wanna have ur front lights fogging up cuz they arent sealed completely

 

the SIR-G is the same as the usdm gsr..... so JDM typeR headlights dont fit you need the front end

Anyway, I'd reccommend looking around on here. People are selling the black housing itr headlights from time to time.

The Si-VTEC has the same front has the 94-97 USDM Integra.

The SiR-G is the Si-VTEC with the "newer" front end, ala integra707's picture.

 

the headlights above are what my car has-JDM SiR G

 

the jdm SiR-G does come with the usdm front end check passwordjdm.com

If this happens, you will be going through lightbulbs faster than Anna Nicole Smith goes through a bucket of chicken. Just go ahead and order some different lights. I think you'll be happier with those (and they won't leak).

Well then they are wrong or something.

93-96 usdm "style" front end.
97+ JDM "style" front end.
