Si cam
I have a dead Si motor lying around in my garage. The valve cover/cam/lifters etc are already taken out.
Do you think it is worthed to put the Si cam in my Dx motor, will i notice any difference??
Is it hard to change the cam, do you know any website that describe the procedure?
Thanks for your help. PL

I quite sure, but not positive, that the DX and SI cams (and head) are the same in the 89-91 model years. I think the cam is just indexed (retarded) differently in the DX. (if I remember this is evident in the timing belt installation instructions in the Honda shop manual) This and the obvious physical differences in the motor intake and exaust systems account for the differences in power.
