Default JDM 4-1

I've heard on countless occasions that a quick and easy upgrade to a nearly stock R is a JDM 4-1 and a high flow cat. My question is, what do you need to make it fit?, The collector is 2.5" and the stock b-pipe is 2.25". I've searched a number of threads and I found quite a bit of dyno plots and peformance oriented posts, but not too much about the actual assembly and installation.

1. JDM header
2. 2.5" donut gasket
3. 2.5" catalytic converter
4. Muffler shop to install it - have them cut out the first restriction on the b-pipe and weld on a flange for the 2.5" cat.

Nice, so just any old muffler shop will do it?

All you need to get is the bolts and washers and an S2000 gasket. YOu bolt the 2.5" out cat right to the stock exhaust. You can if you are that worried about it get an adapter welded into your B-pipe that is a reducer that goes from 2.5" to 2.25". Gains will be minimal compared to the hassle..

That'll make it a lot easier when I go to put things back to stock. Thanks
