Pic request: 17's with AZENIS
Does anyone here have a picture of any 17 inch wheel with azenis tires?
On a Honda or not.
I have some 17's and I might keep them for my 240sx depending on how they look with the azenis's. I don't like low pro tires.
Thanks

Good for you and google. Why don't you go ahead and post the ******* picture then?
By the way, it's "you're". Maybe you can find some word structure help on google while you're at it. Who's stupid?
The reason I'm looking for azenis on 17 inch rims is because I'd like to see how the profile looks. I don't want a tire with low profile, but I don't want huge profile either. If you can't help me out then don't post.

I don't think azenis has to do with the profile, but the actual profile of the tire.. will show you the profile.. just makin sure.. do you know what all 3 of these #s mean? 205/50/17 and no actually haven't seen anyone with 17s+azenis..
Yes, I know what the numbers stand for. I have quite a bit of knowledge on this subject.
All I wanted was to see a picture of a 17 inch rim with the azenis tires.

And there's a good example. I like them.
Basically I was hoping the 17 inch azenis tires would look similar to how they look on smaller rims. Some tires are perfect on smaller rims untill you see them on larger ones. Ya know...? I need some meat on my tires...

It's actually more like a ratio of sidewall width/height. But yah I understand it..
After doing some more research on their available sizes.. (I thought they had more available) it looks like I'm left with these two decisions:
225/45ZR17
245/45ZR17
And ideas on what would work well for an S13 hatch?

tire sizing
example 245/40/17
245 width, 40 percentage of width = sidewall, 17 wheel diameter
to figure out width and hieght of a tire you can use this formula, ill use 245/40/17 as the example
245 divided by 25.4 = 9.64 (the width in inches)
9.64 x .40 = 3.85 (sidewall hieght), multiply that x 2 and it = 7.71
add 7.71 to 17 (rim diameter) and it will give you the overall diameter of the tire
in this case
a 245/40/17 is
width = 9.64
sidewall hieght = 3.85
overall diameter = 24.71
seems confusing but once you know it, its easy

245 is a little big for s13s and u need atleast an 8" wheel for them to fit nicely, go for 225's all around, unless your boosted, then u can contact me on AIM S14sx2nr and ill help u with your wheel/tire setup.
