DA jdm xsi cluster
If I got a jdm xsi cluster for my non-vtec teg would it be direct bolt in and wire up
or do I have to wire something for the vtec??
just curious?

wtf? I have a digital RPM read out in my car and the DA6 cluster is pretty damn close to the digital tach.... about the same amount of error as the stock US cluster. Why do you need a VTEC ECU? VTEC has nothing to do with the cluster... except that if the ECU doesn't get a signal from the speedo and/or VSS, VTEC won't work. I have one in my 91 Integra w/LS motor, as do many others here, and it works just fine. If you say something about "revving that high" for the higher redline tach, then that's just a matter of rev limit on the ECU and what motor & setup you're running to achieve the higher revving.

yes, the cluster will bolt right in and function perfectly. Your tach will NOT be off. It will be just as correct as with your old tach, it just goes higher now. Only problem is that the speedo is in km/h. But you can just remove the speedo from your old cluster, put it in the new cluster and wala.... you're good to go. Or just swap the xsi tach into your cluster.... either way.
