I got a good deal on a fibreglass hood and it came this morning. I unwrapped it and there isnt even a hood latch on the hood. But there is 2 bolts at the bottom in the middle about 4 inches. I dont have my car at my house so I dont know what the hatch on my oem really looks like. Can anyone explain?

Also, what are hood pins for? Do they bolt the hood to the frame?

 

maybe you could attach your hood latch to those "two bolts"

Can to stock one come off? Ive never really looked at it. I guess the oem latch is just bolted to the hood?

 

I had to put my stock latch on my cf hood. it fit perfect btw. Hood pins are extra protection so your hood doesnt unlatch and smash your windshield and roof.

 

two 10mm bolts. easy. most, if any, CF and FG hoods dont come with latches.

 

all the CF hoods i have delt with do come with the latch.
