Default "JDM hood prop"

just want to show a friend what it looks like.. I know its just washers stacked- I'm not looking for comments on it, I've already formed opinions, I'm just looking for some pics.. thanks guys-

Please don't call raising the rear of a hood JDM. I didn't know heat release was JDM.

or just get a crappy cf hood, i swear some of the junk cf hood got bigger gap than the stock hood with spacer...

hood spacer=functional

the idea actually not from japan so..yeah..

I don't think it's JDM- I put it in quotes because that's what people call it/know it as- do you have a better idea of what i can call it? if i just wrote "hood prop" everyone would think i meant the prop to keep your hood open.
Oh...heat release isn't JDM? thanks for posting something useful

dang thats so werid that people know, i did that a while back when i had my eg, i didnt say much because i know many people would do that. but im pretty much a person that would rather keep things. i wonder if ff squad or jay smith feels copied from all the replicas out there made of his car or similar. or maybe im just thinking too into depth.

ummm, people have been doing this for YEARS.

It's nothing new. Go to a classic muscle car show or some drag races...it might humble yourself for not being so "original"

for this "jdm hood prop" (hahaha) you need longer bolts?? i tried once and could only fit like 2 tiny washers and have a good amount of thread to screw into the hood.... if u need longer bolts, whats the size?? thanks.

True. Even with Imports, Archie Medrano, T. Fuchs, and all those guys were running the propped up hoods back in the early 90's.
