Those projectors are meant for halogen bulbs, not HID. Therefore, if you put HID capsules in there, you will have a shitty beam pattern with a lot of glare.

haha yeah right, at least TYC actually puts R&D into their products.

TYC's powered Spoon/Vision-style mirrors look really nice, keep your power mirror functions and made specifically for LHD cars.

Uh...why don't you think before you post?

They put research and development in by designing their own mirrors for LHD cars, rather than knocking off RHD designs without manufacturing the right mirror to work for LHD cars.

In case you didn't notice, mirrors are functional parts. Just because their mirrors LOOK like another company's doesn't mean they copied the actual mirror...especially when it was specified that they DIDN'T.

I have the 92-95 civic one piece projectors and they suck, they look really dope, but the beam pattern is crap, CRAP i tell you. I am getting bosch projectors put in mine. If you don't drive at night or don't care about the pattern then go ahead and get them, they look cool...but that is all they do.

i was extremely pleased with my TYC projectors for my 7th gen civic. The beam pattern wasnt bad either. Nothing like the pattern from an S2000, but not bad. I wouldnt recommend putitng HID in them though. Just get a good set of fog lights if you want to see more of the road.

So how is the light out put? Could anyone with these TYC projectors and HID take pictures and post it? Especially against a garage door, or a wall?

Thanks

they suck.. here are some pics of TYC projectors with H1 HID courtesy of some guy on the HID forum.

this is the comparison .. Left side is the TYC, right side is a euro audi projector... i give the TYC's about a 1/5 on beam pattern quality.

These are off a 4th gen accord, a little tweaking in the housing, but no projecters....plan on retrofitting oem projection lamps in, but in the meantime no complaints and good beam pattern (for being 13 years old)
