I only here it in the winter time, everytime i hit a bump i hear a loud sound like metal is hitting the frame of the car, its only in the front, its hard to explain. if u can help me out if u can.

maybe if your car is too low your tires may be hitting your frame ... if you have lowering springs that could be the problem.

 

nothing to worry about. It sounds like the rubber stopper on the struts is rubbing. Mine does the same when cold.

 

check cv axle, Tie rod, ball joints

 

My front end used to clunk. I unbolted the nut on top of the shock tower (strut tower) in the engine bay and put about 3 washers on top of the bushing, then put the nut back on tight. that took care of it.

you may have the same problem.

 

Is your car lowered? Does it have a camber kit? It could be the upper control are hitting the frame...
