Hi guys, it's me again, need help picking parts for my CRX(130k miles) as i don't have alot of experiences. I bought the CRX not long ago and it's my first car as well, i don't know how previous owner treat it but i want to do everything i could to keep it in best condition.

These are the parts that either i NEED to change because stock parts is bad or i just want to change to improve peformance.

I did some research on different parts and narrow my choices down, now i want to listen to what you guys have to say.

Oh and the CRX will be driven maybe 3 times/week around town(i like to drive fast :twisted: but safely :lol. I'm auto thinking of bringing it to track/autoX in near future as well.

My choice are base GREATLY on price and also quality/performance of the parts. If you think there is any other particular parts that's better in terms of value+performance, let me know!

Here we go, let me know your opinion as to which part to buy for each mod and maybe why. Again, this is not a race or track-only car, it's a street car that might see some autoX or track time.


Brake Pads:
Hawk (HPS or HP Plus, i don't know which one is suitable), EBC GreenStuff and PorterField R4S

Brake Fluid:
Ford Heavy Duty Truck Fluid, RedLine or just Honda's

Brake Line:
My stock one seems in decent condition but i was wonder if i should change to a Stainless Steel one or Honda rubber one?

Struts:
Tokico Blue and Illumina, KYB GR-2 and AGX.

Springs:
Eibach Pro-Kit, SportLines, Tein S-tech and H&R.

Air Intake:
Stock pipe w/K&N filter or those cheapo chrome intake pipe on eBay w/K&N filter

Exhaust:
Magnaflow or just go to my local muffler shop and have them custom made? How much are custom cat-back on local muffler shop cost?

Header:
I don't know if i'm going to replace my header, DC Sport sounds too expensive or does it really worth it?
How is the stock header compare to those "DC Sport Style" fake one on eBay?

Also:
- bought NGK Spark Plug and Wires
- change Brake Fluid, Transmission Fluid, Oil and oil filter.
- I'm going to change my 14" wheels to 15"

Anything that i left out?
Any other basic mod that you guys recommend?

I really want to buy the BEST parts that i can afford if they give me best bang for the bucks as well. :lol:
I am having a tough time deciding what to buy so hopefully you guys can help me out.
