Does anyone know if a
92-96 prelude intake
or
97+ prelude intake will work on a
94-97 accord w/ H22?
Im using an accord shortram, but looking at purchasing a new intake and they only make it for preludes.

 

yes both work will work, but use a 97+ since it's 3.0 inches

the mounting bolt doesn't line up, but if you line the cut out in the fenderwell where the pipe goes through with rubber hose, it will be nice and snug.

yeah, go w/ the 97+, i also have 94-97 h22 accord

 

so will a regular cai for a 94-97 accord work on an accord with a h22

yes, but its 2.5inch pipe diameter kills top end power.

aren't accord shortrams 3.0 inches anyways??? you may not need to buy one.

 

ive had an accord 3" shortram intake for bout 4 years now, but Im trying to get a hold of a TopFuel power chamber, and they only make it for preludes, not accords.

Just want an intake that no one else has.

you could try the AEM V2, it's a shortram for the accord/ludes. why not CAI??

 

the cold air didnt fit perfectly, and i was having problems with some of the angles.
no wheel wells= dirty *** filter
plus i made lots of power with the shortram, so i didnt feel the need for a coldair anymore

 

it's fit, the only trouble is if you're going with something like the V2, it may not fit because of clearance issues and you may have to move some stuff around. But I have no idea as to if that would be true or not....just a "potential problem"

ok well the 1st intake i got for my accord was a 3" pipe but the one i have now is 2.5 so i wus pretty sure that an accord one would work once i get my h22 im gunna get a 3" one to go with it
