They will be my next tire. I am not an Azenis fan - too harsh and not that much more grip than T1-s's, and skitter on bumpy mountain roads. According to a friend, the Goodyear Eagles are comparable to the T1s, similar weight, with a bit more grip, but a lot more turn-in response with little degradation in ride quality.

I've driven T1-s, as well as the Azenis. I myself have had ES100's, Yokohama Advan Neovas, Bridgestone S-03's, and Michelin Pilot SX-GTs. The T1-s are very grippy, especially in the wet, and ride very smoothly, but their response and turn-in are quite dull from a soft sidewall.

Ranking the tires I've had experience with, best to worst: (slash means about even)

Dry smooth road grip:
Azenis, T1s/S03, Neovas, Pilots, ES100

bumpy dry mountain road grip:
T1s, Neovas, SO3/Azenis, Pilots, ES100

Wet grip (with puddles):
T1s, SO3, Neovas, ES100, Pilots, Azenis

Response and turn-in: <- (The Pilots dominate here)
Pilots, Neovas, SO3, Azenis, ES100, T1s

Ride quality
T1s, ES100, Neovas, SO3, Pilots, Azenis (budda budda)

Freeway noise
SO3/ES100/T1s, Pilots, Neovas, Azenis (Neovas hum, Azenis roar)

Squealing (quiet when sliding = nobody notices if you slide around )
Azenis, SO3, Pilots, ES100, Neovas, T1s (The Azenis are remarkably quiet, T1s's howl)

Weight
T1s/Neovas/ES100/Pilots, SO3, Azenis (oink)

Cheers.
