throttle bodies , can i use my own ?

i have a Gude head im going to putting into a 89 crx si ... iv got the ecu for it and all .. but dont have the bull frog throttle body , since this new head has vtec ... do i need a throttle body from a vtec engine ? or could i use the one on my car now ?
