There are custom skidplates for the jdm itr headers... But mostly NO... A skid plate is not easy when the headers are not on the firewall side...

I have one on my header (DC 4-1). It works great and I havent had any problems with it yet. I will try and post pics later.

I'd like some for my car too, just because there's so many dirt and gravel roads here in Arizona, and some are in really bad shape.

Where'd you get it? USDM or JDM header?

Its the USDM header. I made the plate myself and with some help from a friend with a welder. The only difference between mine and a JDM one is that there are bolts that hold the plate away from the header on the JDM one. Mine is welded right on to the header. It does its job great, I just think its a little less effective than the JDM one. My brother just got a camera and I will post some pics tomorrow.
