Default Rain + Leak = Water in Trunk

When it rains there is a leak somewhere in my car, but water is getting in the hatch around the spare tire. I can't tell where it is leaking. Has anyone else had this problem?

Is there any way to fix it? Redoing a seal or such?

The drain tube could be plugged. Link

Hey it may not be a leaky gasket. I had a lot of water coming in somewhere through the trunk last winter and it actually got so bad that it would soak the butts of anyone who sat in the back seat. After searching for a while, I discovered two little holes in the sheet metal below the rear strut assemblies. They're right near the rear wheel well, so when I drove over water the spray from the tires just went straight up and into the car. I doubt they're drainage holes because they are at a high point, not a lower point to be used to drain. The holes were left open after I had my car repainted, so there may have been tiny little pop-in seals to go there. Not a problem with the tail-lights for me. Check this before you buy anything that may be uneccesary.

I need to check that antenna idea. I have gutted most of the rear and it is raining right now, so I am going to go out in a little bit and see where it is coming in from. On the left side of the car (drivers side) I found two hoses/tubes that look like they are some kind of water run off. One of them is broken, so may be draining into the car.

Any tips on how to get rid of the mildew/mold smell? I have used half a case of lysol spray.

Ok ... this post is back from the dead. I finally tracked down the problem. It is a leaking tail-light gasket ... I am going to contact ragejed about buying a set of his custom gaskets to solve this problem.
