having trouble getting into 4th in higher rpms

for alittle while now i have had trouble shifting into 4th gear if i am in the higher rpm range. I was wondering would the clutch be the problem or is it the tranny itself. No other gears really have this problem just 4th and i have a 96 gsr with about 114k miles on it.

im sorry to say it but it sounds like your 4th gear syncro is on its way out.

synchro could be worn. clutch could be bad. have you tried adjusting the clutch pedal?

i had this problem on my car getting into second. i replaced the clutch with a SPEC stage 2, and I don't stick in any gears.
