dont listen to what the companies claim. on average they triple the actual power it creates. ive read adds of headers making 20hp for civic dx. on average, i/h/e will yield 15 hp total with a gutted or aftermarket cat.

those ads are bullshit. i cant believe they are still trying to make people believe an intake gives you 20+ hp...those supposed "HP GAINS" are dynoed on BRAND NEW engines...you think AEM is going to dyno a civic/integra with 50k miles on it? youre lucky if you get maybe 5 with an intake
even cams alone won't give you 19+, which cost 700+.

no intake adds 19 hp buddy
a intake will only give you a few hp a few i mean like 1 or 2
you will not feel any difference with just an intake
and by the way dont be dumb and buy a name brand $200 intake

i would go for a nice comptech icebox w/intake arm for the gsr..anybody know the size of the stock gsr intake arm?? is this the same size as the gsr..if so keep the stock gsr intake arm..or either the mugen intake..but it is $$..also maybe a DIY "icebox" like BSQ w/ K&N filter
i dunno about i/h/e as a waste of money. a car breathes a little better with those basic bolt-ons. especially with no resonators and no cats? come on now...

I have intake header and exhaust...if i would of just sat down thought it out more, make plans before doing,u completely save a 1,000 easy! I see these parts as a "I cant wait" type deal u know! U dont really really really need a complete new intake u put a K&N filter and gutted airbox u get the same gains....
