I want to go ls vtec in my crx. I was going to use JE 12.5:1 pistons with eagle rods. Arp rod bolts. Is there anything else I should do to the bottom end to make it rev to 8500 safely other than that?? I mainly want a drag car, but i would like to go road racing and autocrossing too.
My head is going to be dpr p&p With skunk stage 2's Skunk springs and ti retainers. Skunk 2 intake mani and ported tb, B16a1 head. Just thought i'd let you guys know about that. I steared away from the type R swap because i think i can make more power using ls vtec for cheaper. What do you guys think?? Good set up? What should i change. And is there anything i should know while im building this set up Hopefully it will be done by the spring.
Oh yah and i am going to be running a block gurdle too. Any suggestions on where to buy one? What brand? etc...

what kind of hp do you want? 200 plus?

knife edged the crank
toda flywheel
toda cams
toda cam gears
itr intake manifold
toda springs retainers
hondata stage 3 w p28 ecu
theres more goods that i have with this setup,like intake clutch ect...
but this givesyou an idea of what kind of gains you can get with building an lsvtec

yah we have 93 octane here. And I want to use je pistons. B16a1 head. But i think i may step it down to 12:1 pistons maybe a bigger bore or get it sleeved and bore it to 86mm. I dunno yet. But you are making really good power with your ctr's maybe ill go that route
200 whp is my goal. And 12.6 in the 1/4 with slicks.
