how do i reset my maint light?

 

try doing a search, or maybe look in your owners manual this question has been asked a million times

 

1. Turn off car.

2. Press and Hold the reset button located at the odometer.

3. Start up the car, keep it press til the maint light comes off (about 10sec.)

4. Turn off the car, and then start it on again.

5. If the problem is not fix, repeat steps 1-4.

It's not necessary to start the car. Just hold the trip odometer reset button for about ten seconds while you turn the ignition on to "run". The light will turn off. No need to turn off the igniton and restart the car either. And as previously suggested, read the manual. The answers to this and a lot of other questions are explained in detail in it.
