Default WTF is that sound!?!?!?

When i was putting my lip kit on i would turn the steering wheel all the way to the left and right (when the car wasn't running) to screw it in. But now, whenver i back up and turn out of my driveway there's like this slight rubbing sounds at some point when i turn. Is this from turning the wheel without the car on or something??? How do i fix this, it's getting really annoying!! Help!

what does it sound like, where is it comming from?
have a friend drive it and you listen for the noise.
and yes, our cars are equipped with power steering, the wheels should not be turned without the power steering assisting it.

You sure you replaced all the platics screws and such on the fender lining?

Well it sounds to me that you didint take into account the shock play when turning out and in ...shock play is increased when you turn the wheel when the wheels are rolling due to momemtum and all that garbage...either heigten your ride a bit or stiffen the shocks...because when your turning and hit a bump...you will nudge...when you back up...the front shocks compress quite rapidly.

yea, i'm pretty sure its from turning the wheel without the power assist on. The noise is fading now, i think it almost went away.. but before it was pretty loud and you could feel it a lil in the steering wheel. I Don't think its the shocks or tires rubbing against anything, because i've had this setup since summer.
