Default Rear Tower Bars on the RSX?

Has anyone here put on a rear tower bar on their RSX? With the interior panels in the trunk I'm wondering how or even if you could keep them on (w/minor cutting maybe) and install the bar. I haven't bought any tower bars yet, but am just wondering how well that install would work. If anyone has pics it would be extremely appreciated.

Oh, and how well would the RSX react to that install? My GSR handled a bit better installing the rear tower bar, would the RSX be the same or better?

I don't see how it would be possible to install it without cutting away some of the carpet...I was thinking the same thing but since it's a daily driver i'd rather not rip out the interior just yet

I have the cusco rear bar and u don't need to chop anything away...it sits flush with the bottom and can be hidden by putting the trunk mat on top of it...doesn't obstruct anything... it's like the spoon bar

Where did you happen to get the bar and how much did it set you back?

I'll try and take a pic of my Mugen bar in place. The Mugen bar, you have to cut away some of the plastic, they supply the template and rubber molding to go around the cut-out. If done properly, it will look stock. The Type R already comes with a a rear bar in the trunk area.

i have the mugen rear bar and i havent cut anything yet, the panels that you are supposed to cut do not fit back into place properly and as such i cannot keep my hatch cover(thing where outsiders cant see into ur hatch) on or put the rear seats up(actually i can put the seats up, but the misplaced panels push against the leather so i leave them down). hope this helps.
