Help me hit 12's?
I'm currently running 13.4-13.5's all day long with a best of 13.46. I really want to run mid 12's next year and would like some help getting there. My set-up is JDM B16a in a Crx Dx with I/H/E, Zex 75-shot of dry nitrous, ACT clutch and skunk 2 short shifter. I've been using some auto-x slicks and did this all on full interior. I recently gutted out the car of everything but the driver seat and dash and also did a rear D-fuser to the bumper. What do you think I need to do to get to my goal?

Are you running a stock fuel pump with that 75 shot. If so that pump you have won't keep up on top. My buddy had a 50 shot on a B16 in his 91 hatch and that pump would lean out after 6500 rpms. He ran a 12.5 on gas and a 12.9 on the motor.
Thanks (skunked) yeah it's whatever fuel pump they put in when they did my swap so I'll have to ask them about that. I'm thinking that's okay because they knew I was running nitrous because they installed it all at the same time.
You should already be in the 12s. I have ran and tuned similar setups in heavier vehicles and smaller shots of n2o that hit 12.8s and 12.9s consistently.
YOur n2o might not be optimal, meaning jet size, bottle pressure, or it needs to be tuned to its fullest potential. Or you need more time driving.
Hope this helps,
Eric

If so what numbers did it put down and where was your A/F ratio at?</TD></TR></TABLE>
Here's my dyno, Not Tuned just Dyno!!
This was before the Tb, intake manifold, and FPR!!
Also this was when it was at a 55-shot now it's 75-shot!!!

Throw it on the dyno again, maybe go somewhere else in the bay area that has a A/F reading. I make more power on my stock block NA B16. My buddies put down 225whp on a B16 with a 50 shot at 7800 rpms. I would also recommend making sure your valves are straight and your compression numbers are good.
They can do the A/F but we just threw it on one day to see what it would do but yeah I'm thinking of doing a V-AFC and tuning session so I'll do compression check at the same time.
What ECU are you running? We might be able to help you out with the tuning aspect of the car. I would also do a leak down test, it will tell you more then a compression test. Skunked is right though, your car should make more power then that.

Jeremy knows what car I'm talkin about, Ryan AKA Spooge from Sinister. That little B16 loves the juice. Jeremy can hook you up with a program for sure.

sorry i guess i should reiterate by what i meant by tuning your car. Basically making sure your car is running at optimal conditions. For instance making sure all your basic maintence needs are taken care of, running the right plugs, plug gap, etc.
Also having the right combination of parts. I have experienced with a friends setup the STR manifold is too big for mild setups. Good chance you would of been running faster with the stock intake manifold.
Since you say you are new to this sport, you either should experiment with what you have or pay someone who has already accomplished what you desire. I would highly reccommend the second one especially if your not sure what is in your own car.

I was wondering if using 100 octane gas instead of the 91 octane would help it at all? My ecu is a PR3 just went out to check. As for the maintence I change the plugs after every two bottles and yes there gaped right. So you think my bored out stock manifold would be better then the STR manifold right now do to it being stock?
As for me being new to the sport I want to learn that's why I'm here asking questions!!
