Well if you remember a bit ago I posted if I should buy these recaro's for $1150 CAD, well the seller has 2 sets, and he sold the 1st set to his friend. The second set has creases on the bolster on the passenger side, but the drivers seat has a few rips on the back, both seats look mint form the front, comes with rails. Do you guys think its worth it? I'll try to post pics later.

And so you know I wont be keeping the seats for very long, I think I will end up selling them to make a profit, if possible due to damage, so what do you guys think?

 

If they are SRDs, then no, not worth it. You can buy brand new SRDs for less than $500 apiece, plus the rails.

If they are JDM Type-R SR3s, then I would suggest waiting for some undamaged ones. Alcantara fabric is expensive.

Edit: What do you mean by not keeping them and then selling for a profit because of damage?

Edit 2: Whoops, missed the CAD. Guess I should have slept last night. $1150 CAD ~ $876.20 USD. If they are the Type-R SR3s, buy them and get an upholstery shop to replace the Alcantara rear section of the driver's seat. Then sell them for like $1400 USD.

They look pretty good to me. You actually have them backwards, passenger on the right, driver on the left. Driver seats are usually in good condition on the JDM seats since JDM cars are RHD. $1100 seems like an ok price, I would try to get them to go a bit lower though...you never know.

 

try to get em down to like $800 or $900...not too bad though
