Default Energy Suspension short shifter bushing... diagram

...........EIDT hasport emailed me the answer, see last post !.......

I have a short shifter for a 94-00 gsr/integra.
I would like to know if I can infact use a ES short-shifter bushing for the EF chassie..... or should I get a ES bushing for the integra?

Also when I get the bushing.... WHAT part# will it be replacing?
....... does it come with any extra washers, spacers ect?

get the EF bushings, the actual bushings never touch the actual shifter.. they fit onto stock EF parts.. they're #13 and 18 in the pic

Yup, 13 and 18. 13 is easier to replace, 18 is a bit more of a bitch if all the stuff is still in the car. You should be fine with the bushings for the EF, just like said above.

Actually it's 16 and 18 that came with my Energy EF kit. It's called the shift stabilizer kit.

http://www.suspension.com Not sure on the price, but the kit rarely comes in red anymore, just black poly., and just the bushings no hardware.

if you are using a b series shift linkcage you will need a kit from a b series car such as a 90-93 integra, d series linkages use a different style bushing that connects to the tranny.

i had to buy a shifter set from a 90-93 integra along with the master kit for the ef so i could get that bushing

You need the bushing set for the integra, as stated above, the stabalizer bushing that attaches to the tranny is different between civic and integra. The other "bushing" is the same.
Integra tranny=integra shifter bushing set.

What he said was correct. You need the shifter rod bushing...#16 for a B-series shift linkage. The bushing # 18 is the same for the Civic or Integra.

How is that HasPort Hydro conversion coming along? I love my ITR powered CRX with the JDM 4.7 FD LSD HYDRO tranny!!! Thanks to HaSport for coming out with a kit so I can finally run the tranny of my dreams in a CRX!!

so simply put the ES "stabilizer kit" comes with 2 bushing ....#16 & #18. nothing more.

I would use my OEM bolts and washers where/if needed ?

Which one to get:.................. 90-93 or 94-2000 ?
Where to buy?

The 90-93 kit and the 94-up kit is the same exact bushings, regardless of a diff. part #. And yes 16 & 18 is all it comes with.

If that is correct then you are correct as well to say that you can use the DA bushings.

I emailed hasport about thier shift linkage.
Hello,

Before I order the shift linkage for my EF with swap. I wanted to know what kind of shift-linkage ends to you use. The reason why I ask is becuse I will be getting a short shifter along with the Energy Suspension "shifter stabilizer bushing kit". I wanted to know what kind of "ends" are on your shift linkage. If you use the DA style then I would need to get one for the DA. If not then i would stick with the EF bushing. I've spoken to guys that have modifyed (da shorten) shift linkage and they said they had to use the DA ES stabilizer kit cause their EF one did not seat correctly and have too much play with the DA shiftlinkage.

I just want to better prepare myself. Thanks much

Chia Neng

This is what they wrote back:
Use 94-01 Integra bushings, they work the best.

All 87-2001 Integras use the same size shifter BUSHING. ( yes even the old skool Integras have the "bigger" B series size bushing in the stabilizer bar)

You get the bushing to fit the tranny you are using. B-series sized bushing if you are swapping a Bseries engine/tranny.

D-series size bushing if you are running a Dseries engine.

Why Acura used a Bseries sized bushing on the old school Integras is beyond me.

The HASPORT EF linkage does not come with the bushing, flat washer, beveled washer, bolt, etc.

I normally have these items in stock for my EF swaps. Here are the OEM part #'s......

B-series shifter bushing----54303-SB2-010

Beveled washer for bushing------54304-SK7-000

Flat washer for bushing--------54305-SA0-000

12mm Bolt ( certain length )-----95701-0801808

If you are local, I have all the parts needed. I can ship if need be.
