I will be gettin' my new rims this week and I was wondering if anyone knows if there is anything I can do to them BEFORE I put them on my car to help protect them from mother nature. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!

 

wax that sucker up! ...if it is painted...otherwise hope for the best.

 

The rims are just silver. Can I still throw a layer of wax on em'?

 

silver as in alloy like Si/GSR rims...or silver painted? either or, i think you can still wax either of them...

 

They're not chromed out like the one GSR rims but they are probably more like the SI rims. Thanks for the advice. I figure I'll throw a coat of Maguire's wax on em' once I get them.
