Hi.

I would like know, how can I disabled ( block) VTC system in K20A2 engine.
Somebody try block stock K20A2 intake campulley?

I`m asking about block VTC with stock cams.
I`m not sure that TODA VTC killer pulleys fit for stock cams.

Also I only need block VTC, I don`t need adjustable campulleys.
(somobody will ask why). becouse I want install turbo with standalone ECU . But most standalone ecu hasn`t support for VTC system.
Ofcourse with turbo I want use stock cams.

you don't have to "remove" the "system" ....just wire up your standalone....

BUT


the default setting on the OEM intake cam gear is quite a few degrees "retard" so you should investigate some form of cam gear and omit the OEM unit

or just run two EX cam gears.

 

i'm pretty sure the aem EMS has a few programmable relays that can be used to control the VTC. you have to make your own maps and **** though.

 

yes I know, but aem ems still in testing.

IN Poland I don`t have any tuner of aem ems.
Couples poeples running aem ems , and always has problem with proper tuning!

VTC system works on high cam lobe (VTEC LOBE) , Then also intake cam advance or retard? Or mayby on vtec lobe intake cam degree are constant?

toda has a vtc killer package. Go right to their website

 

Toda K-series cam gears will work on stock cams.
