thanx for the info. but i need a little more information. such as the fact that this motor is a obd2 motor. i know im gonna need a obd1 h22a ecu, but what about the injectors , altenator, and distributor? can we use these obd2 items in a obd1 car or are we gonna have to go out and buy the obd1 versions

*EDIT* Sorry this is info from a civic B-series swap (maybe some of the info will be helpful)

Taken from JDMHondaparts.com: (hopefully this helps)

ISSUE #1: Injectors
OBD1 injectors will NOT plug into any OBD2 engine harness. You need to get a set of OBD2 B-series (vtec or non-vtec, although vtec is preferred) injectors so they will plug into an OBD2 engine harness. Or you can try and rewire your car using the OBD1 injectors that come on your engine -- have doin that!
ISSUE #2: Distributor
The OBD1 B-series distributor will NOT plug into any OBD2 engine harness, either. You need to get an 96+/OBD2 B-series distributor to make the swap easier on you. I've never tried to make an OBD1 distributor work in an OBD2 equipped car either -- not worth the time or headache! BTW, you can easily sell an OBD1 B-series distributor if not trade straight across with someone who has an OBD2 B-series distributor.
ISSUE #3: 2nd 02 sensor
OBD1-specific engines do not have a 2nd 02 sensor. You'll need to add this if you're going to use a US OBD2 ecu with your EK only. If you use a JDM OBD2 ecu, it will not look for the 2nd 02. If you plan on running an OBD2--OBD1 ecu jumper and OBD1 ecu, again, you do not have to worry about this 2nd 02 sensor.
ISSUE #4: CKP sensor (lame-*** sensor on oil pump)
This sensor is a pain in the *** for those of you who want to put an OBD1-specific B-series engine into your EK's. It's found on all US 96+/OBD2 B & D series engines only. However, It's not equipped on JDM OBD2 engines, at all. So, if you plan on running an OBD1-specific engine in your EK with a US OBD2 ecu, you need to add this sensor which is PART OF THE OIL PUMP -- yep that's right, you need to buy the whole pump with this sensor on it and put it on your OBD1-specific engine. The only real way around this annoyance is by using a JDM OBD2 B-series ecu or the usual OBD2--OBD1 ecu jumper + OBD1 ecu, since none of these items look for this CKP sensor.

i already know how to do all that. b series swaps are my main thing. i just figured that the h22a swap would probably be a little different. i see so many people in here have h22a swaps in their accords but no one except you seems to want to help. nothing like the EG forum. oh well ill do it myself without anyones help. last time i post in the accord forum.

*Sniff Sniff*

I assume most people with swaps here have obd1 - obd1 or obd2 - obd2

Im sure there are people that have done it....just havent had a chance to see your post?

lemme look to see if i can find any other resources to help you out

i appreciate your help. but i figured in teh accord forum there would be more than just one guy tryin to help out. its like they are all sitin back lookin but not contributing. i have done over 13 swaps on just mine and my freinds cars so i am not a noob to this. just needed some pointers and advice from a collection of people (such as H-T accord forum) to see what the different things people do or are doing with this particular swap. but i have noticed one thing this is one of the more slow forums on H-T not much movement. all the other forums when you make a post its already on the second page within like 10 min sometimes. but like i said before ill go into this thing with the knowledge i already have its not like im gonna get stuck or something. im pretty crafty when it comes to things like this.

you could also post this in the hybrid forum....there are quite a few people that contribute to those forums more often with obd2 h22's in their obd1 cars

the distributor is the main problem...you are going to need an obd1 harness along with the obd1 distributor...mounts shouldn't be a problem other than the driver side mount, which you can shave with a grinder or the like...i wouldn't waste my money on the hasport mount, it's just too much for too little...you will need an obd1 accord harness on the h22, which will need to be modified a bit...there's an entire how-to here: http://www.accordinglydone.com/tech.php?ID=54
