Default Code 22 wtf???

So I was drivin to uh pittsburgh tonight and out of nowhere my check engine light came on, so I checked which code it waS throwin and it said 22. Here is the peculiar part... the v-tec pressure sensor has been disabled in my chipped ecu. Why would I still throw this code? Could it be oil level? It shouldn't be wiring issues cuz it has been working for over four months. Please let me know what y'all think. Thank you.

It's your oil level. Usually the light comes on when you don't have enough oil in the motor and the pressure isn't enough for VTEC, although it still works. Flush out the oil, pour new oil in, and reset the ECU.

I checked the oil level and it was just fine, although a little dirty. So I decided to reset the ECU just for the hell of it, and it went away, for how long I don't know. But at least it's not running the code. I plan on changing the oil once I get back home. Thanks for the help though.

Well on my way home to Columbus today the same thing happened... just cruisin' around and I threw a Code 22, this being after I temporarily fixed it. I don't understand it.

check your oil. the remove the vtec assembly to see if your little screen behind the vtec assembly is cloged up.
