painting vents
the ac vents on the teggy dash in my eg are white, and i need to paint them black. What should i use to paint em, and what should i do to make em come out smooth like the stock one. Also i need to paint my console part where the shifter is...tell me if you need pics...

i think you would be better off buying some used vents instead of repainting them .
if you have to paint them go to an automotive paint store and buy some interior paint , brand like SEM or something , and repaint them with a semi-gloss black . for sanding i would use a real small grit like 1000 or higher .

go buy some plastic paint stripper.....just spray it on and wash it....make sure it doesn't get on you skin. Use some gloves or so cause it will irrate your skin like hell

krylon fusion, bonds to plastic and will not scrap off, and I do not think it can be removed, due to the fact that in chemically bonds. I have yet to try this on automotive plastics, so try it on a small area first, this stuff works great on models.
