Clutch Install Prob....
I'm tryin to slap my clutch and flywheel onto my bottom end to be balanced, but there's some dowel pins not lining up on the flywheel; it's the ones on the flywheel that stick into the pressure plate.
I'm using an Exedy Ceremetallic, but my stocker won't line up either!
Am I stupid, or is it a bit harder than this?

Hey try turning the pp I know its usually a pain to get lined up even though it looks like it doesnt matter there is only one way it will fit. Just keep turning it to the next set of holes etc. until it goes on... Sometimes once its half on and lined up a nice little bump with a rubber mallet helps pop it right on.
and yeah the alignment tool is only for the clutch disk not the pp You can not disalign the pp....

cool beans; i just fiddled around w/ it a bit last night, and it didn't line straight up so I called it quits and studied for a test.
I'll give it another try this afternoon. Thanks!
