hey, im looking to buy a del sol for my first car. I plan to get white because i prefer it over black and that nasty blue-green (sorry for anyone that has that) and red is a total cop magnet, (my dad has the mercedes slk320) and they just swarm it, and there are no other colors on the used ones around here. but anyway, since its my first car i am not going to do any engine mods. i only want to do some external to make it... nicer looking. since its white, i think a white/black scheme would look really nice. a black stripe (the thin and wide) would be nice, and for the inside i want to paint it. but im not sure what to do.

im positive the entire interior is black, so i want to paint around the a/c vents, etc. white. i will also get http://www.wetokole.com/ neoprene seat covers in white on black, but im not sure what seat style the car has. (can you help me there)

also, i want to get the super white headlights but i heard it melts something... any ideas?

so what im asking is for some advice, some pictures of things done like this so i can see.... and some opnions.

first things first, dont get the played out racing stripes. any white car looks best clean. teamdelsol.com has pics of several del sols with an assortment of colors and mods. if you are not going for performance, at least get a del sol si (sohc vtec) or you can get the best which is the del sol vtec (dohc vtec.) that way you at least have a decent amount of power under the hood the live with while you do your other mods. below is a link to a pic of my del sol vtec.

uh...do you realize this thread is about 4 years old?

 

all you need for the exterior is a lip and some rims (: its cheap and it would look clean about painting the interior, IMO i dont think thats a good idea
