Default b18A ECU on a B18B1

will this work temporarily? reason: sending ecu to get socketed for hondata, still need to drive car, can borrow b18a ecu from a friends 92GS. thanks for any replies!!

should work i think the 92 is a obd1 and should be youre car i think..

They should work, as long as they're the same OBD. I've used b18a and b18b ecus in my car.

Hell, you can run a DX computer on your LS motor if you really needed/wanted to, to get by and drive the car. Just as long as you have an OBD-1 computer for an OBD-1 car, or an OBD-0 ECU for an OBD-0 car (same applies for OBD-2 & 2.5), then you're set. When you say "B18A" and B18B" most people think of B18A as 90-91, which is OBD-0 and B18B as 94+ Integra (OBD-1 or OBD-2), and then the ECUs are not interchangable in those year of cars, but the longblocks are the same. Just make sure you get a compatible ECU that'll plug into your car.
