Airbag Removal (Searched)

I'm wondering where I can go to find the exact airbag laws...I know its illegal to remove them, but if you car is wrecked do you legally have to replace them? Also, if you do remove them and not replace them do you have to notify your insurance company?

In CA you have to replace them (if they deployed) and have your car inspected by the CHP

Fortunately, I'm in Utah...I know Cali is really strict.

look all you need is to find a good inspection guy not put them back in there thats what you have to do

Nope Mine went off .. took it to the dealer and got it fixed and CHP didnt have to come..

Now if your car gets into a wreck and then the car get a salvaged wreck title then to make the car road worthy you will need the car to get inspected.
