I have a 04 ex 2dr. and I am looking for coilovers that will work with the factory suspension, but I don't want to get something that will be to stiff or that I won't like. I also don't want to spend a ton of $ @ 300 would be good. Can anyone be cool enough to give me recommendations or share past experiences that will make my search easier

Skunk2 if you need cheap but reliable. My advice: don't do your suspension until you have enough cash to do it right. I'd save up more money ($800) and get some Tein SS full coilovers from VTECvoodoo.
