Default best d16z6 obd1 ecu

hey guys ive got my d16z6 and im gonna order a obd1 conversion kit for it. what ecu should i use? automatic ecu's arent the same right? i have an acu but it came form and auto. what ecu is the best for this? its gonan be stocke engine and eventually i/h/e when i get some cash. ok thnaks guys

You need a 5 speed P28.

Yes you can use the p28 auto but you have to cut a jumper to make it 5speed not sure which one though. Do a search that is how I found out about it.

does anyone know this jumper?
i dont know much about electrical systems in cars, but i have to learn sometime if i wanna work on hondas!

Screw the auto ECU. Since you're going to the trouble to convert to OBD-1, use the correct P28 - 5spd.

ok thanbks guys, also i just purhcased a 95 civic sedan dx. what ecu is in that? its non vtec, but is the vtec wiring still there? its a 5speed

i don't think the vtec wiring is there...u'd have to run it.
