hey. i need to get some kind of muffler or something because i have just got stock and its so flippin quiet...it just makes my car sound more *iiinnnnggggg* i hate that. so..what would be a good alternative because i have some money but i dont want to spend over 150..and the less work would be nice. any good suggestions? this is for a 1st gen crx. thanks.

 

p.s. also, i got the piece painted..it was supposed to be more grey than blue...but...i dont know. it looks good, all bodywork by me... but yea, no pictures yet...i have to set that up...just be on the look out for em...later

 

Ummm... looks like you have a 1g CRX, I can't really tell from the pics, but I made my bro's nearly-stock 2g CRX much, much louder by removing the intake snorkus that leads into the stock airbox... remove the long nozzle over the radiator, and remove the little rubber boot that goes into the airbox. Sounds quiet at part throttle, but it has a much more pronounced noise under throttle, and it feels like there's a little more power.

Try doing something like this to your CRX, or seeing if it's possible. It's cheaper than buying a muffler!

 

if u dont wanna spend any money i woudl take off everything after a header, it sounds very mean try that yur car will soudn louder then a mustang at idle good luck
