Default Help wanted , Europe calling

Hi , I am here in Belgium Europe . I have a US-2002 RSX type S. I bought it on E-bay , the car was involved in an accident . The battery was disconected
I do not have the radio code for this car , can someone get me the radio code at an Acura dealer please. The RADIO serial n° is "U1000" and "L4072"
I am alos looking for both front airbags for this car (black) , where can I get them cheap or does any one knows some for sale used ???
vin of the car is JH4DC53022C007808

I am asking all this , because the RSX is not imported in Europe and we do not have any ACURA dealers here.

PLEASE HELP

Thanks

Douglas

Thank you sir , that is the right radio code , THANKS
I called an Acura dealer and he wanted me to send over the radio to get me the code , you just gave it to me and thats wonderful. THANKS again !!!!!!

I have an other problem with this car , I bought it on E-bay. The seller told me that the car was involved in a small front accident and only had cosmetic damadge. OK it was not so bad . The car came in last week and the radio-code was missing OK , but both front airbags are missing TOO ! The SRS light is . Now if I can find some used airbags for this car it would be great , but once the airbags have been activated , do I have to replace the “SRS” unit (computer) and the “Reel Cable” ?

Kindest Regards

Douglas

Technically you have to replace a lot of stuff,
The air bags that blew of course,
The srs control unit,
The seat belt tensioners and seat belt buckles and seat blets from both front seats since both front bags blew.
Also I think you have to replace the impact sensor at wichever corner of both on the front end. Then good luck clearing the code, I know of no-other way except to have a pgm tester to clear it.
The cable reel should be ok, as long as it is not unwound and hanging out of the car. If I remember anything else I will add it in.

I do work for an Acura dealer but, Thank the Lord we do not have a body shop, so my info is just from what we have had to help places with.

So I am looking at lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$ , ****.
Hey do you know of any racing steeringwheel for the RSX wothout airbag ? and can i still use the cruise control ?
One more question sir , the trunk is stuck closed and we cannot find a release for it. The remote and using the passenger side key hole do not work.

Thanks

What I do know if you unlock the trunk with the drivers side inner door lock lever.
The one near the handle, it should be able to be opened then. Once you get it opened there is an acces panel right behind the trunk latch in the plastic, inside there is a lever. if it is engaged the trunk has to be unlocked every time you want to open it.
Good luck...You do knw the hatch release handle is under the rear "A" logo right.
Just checking.

As far as the steering wheels go...You can't have your cruise control unless you know of a way to incorporate it into the hub of the wheel you want, . Most after-market wheels do not use your factory cable reel for anything and your cruise works through it.
I guess just pick a wheel you like and bolt it on.

According to the owners manual. NO.
the latch rod on your car may have come off or something. the only procedure in the manual is that each door handle switch is a master for the doors and the hatch.
Sorry I can't help there. You may be able to get to it be going in from the front and
removing the cover and then see if you can release the lever that way.

Most dealers can "clone" an immobilizer key. You would have to go to the dealer and get a cloneable blank from like a 99-01 Accord or something. They should be able to trace the pattern from your first key and then clone the program into the clone key. It will look the same but not have an "A" or "H" on it.
about the remotes. I don't know wich remote could be programmed for your car.
Hopefully somebody else can answer that one.
