H22 guys... Header is in and me likey!!!!
got the header in last Wed but have been unable to dyno(I'm broke right now), but anyway the *** dyno says its awesome and so does my new time slip. So my setup now is this.
stock H22
ITR intake
image engineering header
fidanza flywheel
heres the new header
with this header you need a 36" belt or else this will happen
you will need to remove one of the radiator brackets for it to clear then hold the rad back with something(I used zip ties)or esle it'll rattle on the header.
Had to raise the car up about an inch so that way the header wont scrape on every dip in the road. Here you can see how low it hangs.
this is what the final product looks like.
only got 1 run in today and I missed then spun through all of second but the car IS capable of more they way she sits. I'm on the right. I got smoked by a full out race musclecar... he should of done 10's.

I saw alot of those headers. But have some question. Originaly H22 header chanels are conected like 1 to 4 and 2 with 3 cylinder. This is how it must be from logical way of how engine work.
Why you use headers which are bild like 1 with 2 and 3 with 4. And crossroads of tubes are almoust under egine?

Its a shame that the header on an H22 in a civic hangs as low as it does. Whatever type of header I have on my h22, it hangs prolly just as low as yours if not lower, and it really bothers me. Besides that the header looks good. I bet you car is crazy loud now with that header.

Haha looks like its gone.
What upper radiator hose is that you are using?

Do you have a close picture of how far the header is from the oil pan or can you measure? On our car the top of the pipe where it goes under is around 3/8" to 1/2" off the pan. This would make it close, but not too close, and not too much lower than the factory piping. What makes is seem lower is the fact that the front pipes curve under farther forward than the factory piping. Looks nice installed though!

yup it's gone for now but I do think it will fit as long as I put the fan on the outside. But will be installing it by next spring.
Jungle... yes it is louder but not too much.

Those are some seriously long primaries!
Reminds me of an SMSP header.

they are long, even when compared to my hotshot one. but only one way to tell which is the best of the two "a dyno show off"
in my setup i can hear the header "thinggg.. thingg tick tick titticing...." the exaust gas pulses i can hear them... pretty cool...

this header is not a "bolt on peice" needs work, but i'm convinced of the gains.. mostly topend. I'd be curious to see the comparison to Mike's header if we could line something up.... so i could borrow one to test on a dynojet tuned via hondata. to see how much his header produces (should gain more midrange)...
because if the gains would be similiar i might suggest the one from mike, for ease of use...
after all it would be the best comparison for mild header category.
