I was wondering what side skirts are on this 180sx. And before I hear all this "this is honda-tech", well some of us have moved on to better things And before anybody asks....no I don't drift. I live in the city and their are no mountains

its a Zenki Type-X if im not mistaken..and yeah they are stock

Yeah, they are stock I think..heres an S13 in Japan that has them, so I'm pretty sure they are stock..

 

dang im lost, I thought that was a 240? thats a 180sx?

You should also make your picture a link, its not nice to steal other's bandwidth especially when they pay for it.

 

ZENKI - First generation S13 (US 240SX=1989-1990)

CHUKI - Second/Middle generation S13 (US 240SX=1991-1993)

KOUKI - Third/Last generation S13. (US didn't get these, but in Japan they were around from 1997-1999)

its a 240SX out here because it has a KA24DE...its a 180SX in Japan because they came with CA18DET's...

 

in japan they are called 180sx. here in the us they are 240sx.

and in japan that model didnt stop till 95 i think and the 240 changed bodystyle in 91 for the us. correct me if im wrong.

they stopped in 1993 in the US and in Japan they went on till 1999

but isn't the kouki the same bodystyle as the 180? I'm new to all this so I'm still learning.

Kouki 180SX has the same body style as the Zenki 180SX, but the bumpers are different, as well as the tail lights, sides and wings

I just realized I was wrong this whole time..that first 180sx is a Chuki 180sx not a Zenki..my bad guys

Yep, chuki the white one is chuki... Bumper isn't pignose, and the blinkers are elongated. Zenki is pignosed with rectangular blinkers.

Also, I think (but am not sure) that those sideskirts were available as an option for Canadian models... Once again, not sure, so don't quote me on it.
