Default speed govenor

does anyone know when the speed govenor cuts off on a b16a? and how do u bypass the speed govenor so it wont cut the motor off , when u get into the higher speeds.

You can't. It is entirely impossible. I'm serious, the best scientists on H-T have been working on this for years, and they have no clue. But if you can crack the B16's top speed governor, than we all owe you a million bucks man. That fuzzy logic, and dual binary reciprocating processor is WAY ahead of its time. Honda outdid itself with that. I guess the motor was sending Civics to around 160mph and the chasis couldn't handle it, so they locked down the top end... Anyway, good luck.

Hm.. I thought the mugen chip let you go past ~115 or whatever the limiter is?

Yea, you can chip it to get over 115. I seriously thought I would never even notice having it, but it sneaks up on you quick . Ryan

My Field SFC-VTEC controller will bypass any speed limiter set by the ECU..
