My NEW BIKE: Suzuki GSX 600!
Hey, if everyone read my post before I was considering buying my cousins 1994 Suzuki Katana GSX 600 from him which I did last week. I got it licensed and insured, and now I just need to take the MSF course. The windscreen is old and definitely needs to be replaced, and the colors on the bike are nasty. The "Suzuki" and "600" are in pink and I was wondering where I could get differenet colored decals to put on my bike or change the entire scheme. I have also been looking for pipes for my bike, but I have not found a thing?? So, basically if everyone here can recommend some great places to purchase accessories, upgrades, etc, etc, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!

The GSX 600 engine is basically a sleeved 87 on gixer. The best mod for some performance is to fit the head and barrels straight off of a GSX 750. You should be able to find this stuff in the breakers for next to nothing. Next revalve the front forks and use a heavier grade oil as they are massively underdamped. Steel hoses on the front should take care of the stopping with a change of oil. If the rear shock has covered more than 5000 miles it will be scrap, change of if you can find someone rebuild the unrebuildable stock unit. Exhaust and filter should be swapped for something less restristive...Micron/K@N are cheap and cheerfull. One other mod is to increase the ground clearance by junking the centrestand and raising the rear suspension using a lifter, Drop the forks into the yokes by 10-20 mm to speed up steering.
Have fun.
I'm not sure what kind of schemes there are for your bike, but you can check out http://www.tapeworks.com/ (or maybe it was tapewerks)...congrats on the bike!
Thanks!! That's the exact site I was looking for, my cousin showed it to me, but I couldn't find it. Once I get some more money I will more than likely purchase one of the kits they have on their and replace the nasty pink. Also, I was thinking Yoshimura Pipes definitely. What's the diffrences in the models? Also, my bike is a dual-exhaust, so I would need to slip-ons which sucks because of the price, but where can I find ANY pipes for my bike??? I've looked everywhere!?
