Dude are those pads made of gold or what, At my dealer they are only like 59.95 for a set of front pads....How much labor are they charging anyway???
I hope you are doing them yourself.

Damn is that with machining the rotors also, my dealer is 126.99 for front brake pad replacement. Without turning the rotors. Most people don't scorch their front brakes on the type-s.

**** dealer install.
**** turning rotors, just get some pads that scrub them well and they'll never warp and if they scorch, they'll fix themselves.

the amount you spend on turning rotors, you could just buy a new set.

Look into a pad made by Cobalt. Very good pad and it bits very hard. Ask for rusty.

sometimes dealers have a good deal on brake jobs. i just got a front brake job done on the integra for 90 bucks. with coupon from myacura (on http://www.acura.com). it included oem pads, resurfaced rotors, inspection. the oem pads seem to do well. never had an issue with them and they wear, for me, very well. i'm easy on brakes in town but very hard in the canyons.

I work at a dealer... not saying that you should go to one for brakes b/c the labor will kill you, BUT you have got to turn the rotors. Within 10k miles if you dont they will be warped or at least wearing funny. Dirt and everything else gets in the grooves and tear up the brakes too.

as far as brake pads, beleive it or not, you can get dust free pads from pep boys that are great. I have them on my integra. they have like 15k on them and still have like 70% left on them. They really are dust free which is nice with aluminum wheels. They do get hot kind of quickly, but drilled rotors takes care of that.
