I turn the key on and the lights won't come on in the dash. I reset the ecu and the it starts up sometimes or I have to play with the key a little and it starts sometimes.. Also after I get it running I will be driving at night with the headlights on obviously and the radio and why I go to put my high beams on the radio cuts off for a few seconds then turns back on. Only does it when I use the high beams though. Ground, or maybe ignitor system?

 

Check all of your grounds and make your you don't have any loose connections. Sounds like it's an intermintent problem. What condition are your battery terminals in? If they are corroded or crusty, they will not be as conductive as they should.

 

I just replaced my battery terminals because they look a little beat up. I"m going to check out the grounds next to see if that is the problem.
