Most HP on Stock Block ??? (No sleeves,pistons or rods)
Just got a call from the dyno they went back with Cunha's car (11.6 dragradials) this time with C16/93 mix, last time it made 428whp on 93octane.... They said it made 460whp/301tq @ 20psi, then they changed the plugs an made 470whp at 20psi sees 21 at redline... Still on the rollers so it might make a little more curious if this is the most or what else has been done

i beleive (jinxpproof) made around (500 +) back in the day with a stock gsr block..correct me if im wrong.

inline used to run a stock block(b18c1) on the occasion one of their built blocks blew at the last minute. they usually would last 6-7 passes and were making 600+ hp/400+ tq in the race car. i know they did that at least twice. making power isn't very hard, but making it last is.

Its kinds of nuts, Cuhna's car has been out for about 2 - 3 months already. Doesn't even smoke all that much except a little brownish blackish smoke. I guess its all in the tuning to make it last.

In case you guys are interested this is my setup
TypeR block with ls pistons
2 oem headgaskets
aebs studs
b16 head
compression should be about 8.8
160-150-160-145 on a compression test
the original owner drop a valve so i just honed it out and put new rings on it still has the valve damage on the cylinder wall

anyone else pulled higher with a stock b16? i was hoping for for 350-360 on race gas but had problems with my 550cc injectors so i had to use 450's instead...Still pulled 311whp...I'd love to see 375whp in the spring with my new 720's
