JDM H22A...parts from H22A1 or H22A4 or doesnt matter?
hey guys..i have a 94 prelude si...i recently purchased a jdm h22a front clip and was making a parts list of the stuff i need to do a proper engine swap....so far im planning on replacing the timing belt, water pump, balancing belt, and all the seals and rubbers. My questions is im going through my helms and the majestic honda site to make the list and was wondering which car should i base it on? Should i use the 4th gen vtec model part numbers from the H22A1 or the 5th gen vtec H22A4 or does it not matter?
Thanks in advance

what year front clip did you buy? match the year from the engine, not the car.
btw-if you have the front clip, you should have most of the climate control, how much you want for it.

its a bb4 4th gen jdm front clip...it has the clear side markers on trhe front bumper so im assuming its from a 94-96...
so just use the 94 usdm vtec model for parts?...can anyone confirm this?
im going to keep the digital climate control and all its motors..sorry

yes use all H22A1 parts.
Unless you can be more specific I can't tell you what parts are the same. But there are different ones, so that's all I can offer at this point.

bb4 is a VTEC 4ws as far as I know. So from a front clip perspective there's nothing different about it.
Hey dude does your Si have 4ws? Cause the clip ecu will....
