bought a black 96 hatch. dropped it. thinking about buying some LS mesh wheels. anybody have a pic? thanks

thanks for posting.. nice car. i wish my paint was that clean. i think i will just buy the other choice wheels ive been looking at. i wanted rota attack's. but they dont make them in 16". so i found some 5zigen wheels that are dark bronze that look just like them. just a little more $.

also i want a lip that is slightly lower. there is a practically brand new SIR factory lip on it? (this is what i was told by the guy i bought it from) looks kind of like yours, but smaller?

 

my paint isnt as clean as the pictures make it out to be, trust me. but thanx for the compliment

the LS wheels are okay if you cant afford aftermarket, but not my first choice. these were kind of free so i put them on for the hell of it. the lip that i have on also wasnt my first choice. i thought i was getting the 96-98 OEM Type R style lip, but it turned out to be the 99-00 style $50 cad so no harm done.

if your talking about the jdm SIR lip, thats another lip i'm trying to get, but no luck so far. got any pics?

i'm sure your hatch will turn out nice, with whatever rim choice you make

im not sure if it is the lip or not? i bought the car last saturday afternoon. drove home for about 3 hours. everything was stock other than aftermarket black housing headlights and the lip..and vx wheels. the rear lca's were bent so the back had an extra 1-2" gap. stock dx interior...

in a weeks time, it has a cd player down where the tape player was... searching for plastic to make a block off where the radio was. all new speakers around cuz stock sucked...a 2000 ex gauge cluster with stock speedo. 00 ex armrest, 00 ex floor matts (i had none), fixed a busted window regulator, the rest of the interior is mint!. got some stock lca's from that same 00 ex coupe. a rear tie bar, straightened the frame where the lca's hook to the car..(dad is a body man... nice to have a frame machine!) lowered it with some coilovers and tokico blues, and have a ingalls camber kit that i havent put on it yet. replaced the upper half of the stock manifold with another b/c mine had a crack in it causing a loud knock. re-welded the stock muffler to the pipe where it was busted.. i am guessing this guy put it in a ditch backwards... judging by everything that was screwed up under-neath.... i think that is everything i have done in a weeks time.

but now, it is starting to take shape a little better. unfortunatly i was too lazy to get a camera and take before pics... so all i will have are some middle-after pics. i can post some pics of my old red 94 turbo hatch... just sold it like 3 weeks ago...
