what kind of motor oil for my 95 GS-R
i remember seeing it before but i did a couple of searches and couldnt find the old thread...
i was jus wondering what kind of motor oil should i use when i change my oil this week? should i stick with the 5w-30 the previous owner used or should i change to 10w-30 for winter, etc???

According to your owner's manual, 5W30 is preferred at all temperatures.

synthetic oil if finer and has chemicals which cleans the crankcase. if you have an older motor, like mine which has 140k miles, i dont want to take the risk of damaging a seal. some people say it wont hurt but ive seen it cause leaks many times.
