well im just about done with my hh2a swap, all i need to finish is the shifting cable hook up ad the vacuum lines. i was looking on chipping my jdh22a p13 ecu, but i dont know if i should go with the spoon or mugen chip? i read a couple of forums that said that the spoon chip is awesome but i want to double check on this. anyone know anyone down here in texas who can burn the chip on my ecu, i need a referral on that too.

There was no "Mugen" chip for the P13 ECU or for the H22A motor. There is Spoon, KS, Skunk2, and XS Engineering but no Mugen. If you see a "Mugen" chip for the JDM P13 ECU, it's most likely a KS program or possibly a Spoon program just relabled as a "Mugen" chip. Stick with the Spoon program if you have a JDM P13 ECU. We have both versions of the Spoon program (orig version and the same version that has the knock sensor disabled..... EGR is still read).

What all does the spoon chip do????? Does it also remove fuel cutoff (govenor)??What kind of gaines are expected.

 

Get the Spoon chip. I'm still throwing code for knock sensor, but everything else is great.

 

well i saw the cips on ebay, thats why i asking about the differece between both. anyone know anyone in texas who can burn the chip on my ecu? or can i do it myself?
