JDM Integra HID headlight question

I have a pair of black housing HID headights, however - the ballast and bulbs were taken out - Is there a difference on the actual projector in these headlights than non-HID headlights?

i believe there is...actually pretty sure there is, but maybe someone who knows about these more than I wants to elaborate on the difference?

The HID projectors and headlight housings are diferent than that of non-HID headlights.

Do a quick search and you can find tons more info on this subject
