That has got to be one of the worst guardrails I have ever seen at a track. Atleast he came out ok. That was a very nice car btw.

Man that doesn't even look like a track, it looks more like some guy who paved a 1/4 mile in his backyard and put up some picket fences as guard rails

Glad to see that the guy walked away, too bad for his car though it was nice

well now they got a reson to replace it, hopefully with a better one. i'm glad the driver, made it out of the car ok!

i would be so upset to see my car crashed like that..hopefully he has some sort of insurance but yeah thank goodness he made it out ok.

 

I think if the driver was experienced he could have saved it. He let off the gas and the car hooked.

sucks for the car. looks like he had all of the necessary safety equipment thank heavens.

 

Id say also that is a sketchy track! Damn it is ashame that car is probably trashed completely. I have seen this one guys Outlaw Pro Street car back home burn to the ground at the track because there was no firetruck there or anything. It was a blown alcohol engine so it was burning without seeing the flames basically! Good thing both of these guys made it out alright.

 

That is good ole Carl's bad for ya. For the people that haven't ever been there, you need a ( being sarcastic ) 4x4 lifted truck to get in there and the track is in the center of a valley. I have seen a low 9 second vet (lethal weapon) Launch and do a 180. There is always a ambulance on site. But I would never ever take a car quicker than 10's there. You guys thought that the shut down area at Irwin dale was bad lol, Most of the time the v8 guys have to let off ware before the lights.

Carl's bad is a historical place but they seriously need to make some improvements. I am very glad to see that the driver was ok, but it also made me almost want to cry when I saw all of someones hard work go down the drain to a shitty track.

nah, the weight transfer had a lot to do with it when he backed off the gas.

he turned it hard right if he just lifted it would have straightened itself out

 

Oh, that sucked. That was a nice car. He'll probably start building a fwd now. Drivers walking away.
